Jim comes to Curata Partners following a thirty-five-year career in the residential development business working in land acquisition, project planning, entitlements, and development. He has served as vice president of acquisitions for several homebuilders, where he was responsible for acquisitions in numerous jurisdictions in Northern Virginia and Richmond, including identifying opportunities, negotiating and managing purchase agreements, overseeing feasibility studies and due diligence, and securing development entitlements.
Jim’s focus at Curata is on technical land use and entitlement issues.
